EvE3UM Software & Solutions (“EvE3UM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) develops privacy-focused, local-first Windows software and operates this website. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit our website, contact us, or use our desktop applications. This policy applies generally to EvE3UM Software & Solutions products and services. Certain applications may include additional product-specific privacy disclosures where they offer optional cloud synchronization, third-party AI providers, Microsoft 365 connections, shared workspaces, or other features that transmit information outside your device. If an app-specific privacy notice conflicts with this policy, the app-specific notice applies to that feature.
Our Local-First Approach
Our desktop applications are designed to keep core workspace data, files, settings, and processing on the user’s Windows device whenever practical. We do not operate a general-purpose cloud service for storing customers’ application workspaces, projects, local databases, or ordinary application content. Many core application features can operate locally, including local storage, file organization, planning, analysis, document generation, and certain on-device AI functions, depending on the application and the hardware or local AI runtime available.
Local-first does not mean that every feature in every application operates without an internet connection. Some products may use Microsoft Store services, optional Microsoft 365 connections, user-selected AI providers, software or local-model downloads, support links, or other user-initiated online features.
Information Stored Locally in Our Applications
Depending on the application, information stored on your device may include workspace records, documents, policies, reports, videos, images, files, application preferences, settings, local profiles, configuration data, local databases, generated outputs, backups, export files, activity logs, locally saved AI settings, and Microsoft Store license-status information. This information is generally stored in application folders within your Windows user profile.
Website Contact Information
If you contact us through a website form or email, we may receive your name, email address, message content, and any information you voluntarily provide about an application, device, order, subscription, or support issue. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, provide support, protect our services, and maintain reasonable business records. We do not sell contact information.
On-Device AI and AI Providers
Some EvE3UM applications include AI-powered features for planning, content generation, organization, analysis, editing, data routing, or recommendations. For applications using Microsoft Foundry Local or another local AI runtime, prompts and outputs are processed on your Windows device. We do not receive, store, or transmit that local AI content. Foundry Local may use the network for initial model downloads or optional diagnostics if a user chooses to share logs.
Some applications may allow users to connect a third-party AI provider or cloud-based AI service. If you choose to use such a feature, information necessary to provide that feature may be sent directly to the provider you selected. Their privacy policy applies. EvE3UM does not use your local application content to train public AI models.
Optional Microsoft 365 Connections
UDX and GovernIQ Local Pro may offer optional connections to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, OneDrive, or SharePoint. These connections require you to sign in and approve permissions. When used, information you select for import, synchronization, sharing, or collaboration may be transmitted to or received from Microsoft. Core local workspace data remains on your device unless you choose to export or synchronize it. EvE3UM does not automatically upload workspace content to Microsoft 365.
Microsoft Store Licensing
Our Microsoft Store applications may use Store services to confirm purchases, subscriptions, renewals, refunds, or license status. EvE3UM does not receive or store full payment-card information. Microsoft’s privacy terms apply to Store-related data.
Network and Internet Access
Our applications may require internet access for license verification, optional Microsoft 365 connections, user-initiated synchronization, cloud AI providers, downloading AI models, or opening external links. Except when you choose to use connected features, EvE3UM does not transmit your application workspace content to our servers. We do not sell application content or use it for advertising or profiling.
Data Sharing
EvE3UM does not sell or rent personal information or application content. We may disclose information only at your direction, to service providers for hosting or support, for legal or safety reasons, or during business changes such as mergers or acquisitions.
Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information in our control. Local-first design limits external transmission. No system is completely secure; you are responsible for protecting your device, passwords, backups, and exported data.
Your Choices and Control
Because core application data is stored locally, you control your files, records, exports, settings, and backups. Depending on the application, you may edit or delete records, export content, manage backups, remove applications, disconnect integrations, or choose whether to use local or cloud AI features. Deleting an application may not remove all related local files or backups. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold through website communications, contact us using the details below.
Data Retention
We do not host or retain your workspace data. Local content remains on your device until you delete it. Support communications may be retained as needed for business or legal purposes. Third-party services follow their own retention practices.
Cookies and Website Technology
Our website may use cookies necessary for functionality, security, preferences, WordPress administration, comments, or forms. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add new technologies in the future, we will update this policy.
Children’s Privacy
Our software and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in applications, website practices, legal requirements, or features. Updates will be posted on this page.
