General Troubleshooting Tips
Installation Issues
Ensure Windows is fully updated. Restart your device after installation. If installing from the Microsoft Store, confirm your Microsoft account is signed in.
Activation & Licensing
Microsoft Store handles licensing. If activation fails, sign out and back into the Microsoft Store, then restart the app.
Local Profile Problems
If the app cannot load your profile, check Windows account permissions and confirm the app has access to your user directory.
AI Setup
Local AI requires supported hardware and installed models. Azure AI Foundry endpoints must be correctly configured inside the app.
Exporting PDFs or Reports
Verify that the export folder is writable and that no antivirus or security tool is blocking the app.
Workspace Data & Backups
Your data is stored locally. If a workspace fails to load, check the app’s data directory or restore from a local backup.

EvE3UM Tech Support FAQ
Below are answers to the most common questions users have about installing, activating, configuring, and using EvE3UM applications.
1. Why won’t my app activate after installation?
Activation is handled by the Microsoft Store. Sign out of the Store, sign back in, restart Windows, and reopen the app. This resolves most entitlement issues.
2. Why does the app say my subscription is missing?
Your Microsoft Store account may not be synced. Open the Store → Library → Sync. If you have multiple Microsoft accounts, ensure the correct one is signed in.
3. Why can’t I sign in to my local profile?
Local profiles depend on Windows account permissions. Make sure your Windows user folder is accessible and not blocked by security software.
4. Why is the AI feature not working?
Local AI requires supported hardware and installed models. Azure AI Foundry endpoints must be correctly configured. Check your AI settings inside the app.
5. Why won’t my PDF or report export?
The export folder may be read‑only or blocked by antivirus tools. Choose a different folder or temporarily disable security software.
6. Where is my workspace data stored?
All workspace data is stored locally inside your Windows user profile. Each app uses its own directory. You control all local files and backups.
7. Why can’t I share documents or open Trust Center links?
Sharing features require an internet connection and may require Microsoft 365 sign‑in. Trust Center links open in your default browser.
8. Does EvE3UM store my data or AI prompts?
No. All workspace content and local AI prompts stay on your device unless you choose to export or connect a cloud provider.
9. Can I use cloud AI instead of local AI?
Yes. Some apps allow you to configure Azure AI Foundry or another endpoint. You control what is sent to the provider.
10. How do I get faster support?
Include screenshots, steps to reproduce the issue, your Windows version, and whether you’re using local AI or Azure AI Foundry.
